One of the love/hate happenings that arises while working a wedding day are all the obstacles that seem to be lurking around each and every corner of the wedding day --- it can be terrifying at times! I honestly believe that for me, creativity comes from a place that is filled with insane time limits, unreal amounts of stress to deliver, and walking into a situation with a very limited creative game plan. According to my camera's timestamps, I had exactly 1 minute and 36 seconds go from photographing Courtney and her Mother to bringing this photograph from the initial concept in my head to an end result before I had to move on to a different location and sequence of family photographs. It's actually pretty crazy when I think about it! I'm still an infant in this photography game but I feel so fortunate that my camera has allowed me to see the world in a completely new and exciting way. This is a shoutout to all the photographers, both professionals and hobbyists, while the rest of the world sees a church office with a big window with massive vertical blinds, we get to live in an imaginary world where a scene can look the way it does in this photograph. Even more amazing, we live in a time where we can share our vision with countless people across the globe! Let's keep inspiring each other and raising the creative bar higher and higher =)
